In our Internet-driven society and culture, in many ways we have especially disconnected from our bodies, even our breath. This does not feel good, in fact, it can create dizzying feelings of anxiety and stress.
Yoga puts us in touch with our body, our breath, our natural rhythms and the Earth. It can connect us with each other and remind us of what is good in ourselves without too much effort at all.

2) GENERAL If you want to feel good you have to have/build a base of adequate and nourishing resources x Without at least most of your basic needs being met, you will end up swimming in fear, stress and anxiety. The right food, (alkaline), exercise and meditation are all helpful and nourishing resources you can give to yourself, especially in Winter, and especially in these Covid times …They all produce endorphins, especially Oxytocin, otherwise known as the ‘love or trust drug’. These endorphins are absolutely the biological foundation that well-being is built on x

3) PILATES
How is your balance? Take this 10-second balance test to find out:
Stand comfortably near a wall with your arms in any position you choose. Lift one foot an inch or two off the floor so that you are balancing on the other foot. Try and hold for more than 10 seconds. if you can’t do this, you might be at risk for a fall.

Pilates one of the best exercises for strengthening your core, and strengthening your core is a large part of your balance solution. Your core includes the muscles in your back, sides, pelvis, and backside, and of course your abs A good pilates class will really target these areas, you should feel stronger, more toned, more balanced, and more relaxed.
