Astanga Vinyasa Yoga, Beginners – Level 1/2
Suitable for strong beginners and those with some yoga experience.
This is an in-depth introduction to this dynamic yoga, as practised, amongst others, Sting and Madonna.
Astanga Vinyasa Yoga – Level 2
Stronger class suitable for those with some Astanga Yoga experience.
Beginners Hatha Yoga – Level 1
A relatively gentlly paced hatha or hatha flow style yoga. Classes include in-depth introduction to various yoga postures, and the theory behind yoga. Modifications and substitutions available for all postures, so the class is suitable for most people.
Hatha yoga – Level 2
Suitable for strong beginners and those with some yoga experience. This class works with a more diverse, and sometimes stronger range of postures, and begins to teach inversions, such as handstand, headstand and shoulder stand.
Vinyasa Flow yoga – Level 1/2
A fun and energizing class suitable for strong beginners and those with some experience. Student move gracefully through a dynamic and invigorating sequence of postures, building strength and flexibility, as well as balance and poise.
Yin Yoga for Sleep and Relaxation – All levels
Particularly good to help release tightness in the body, and anxiety in the mind. we use props to allow you to stay longer in postures, so you can feel the stretch more, relax more and breathe more deeply.
Prenatal Yoga – All mums-to-be
A calming and less strenuous way for you to exercise during your pregnancy, strengthening your body, and making you (and your growing baby) feel good. A great way to feel part of a community of pregnant women.
Chair Yoga – All levels
An excellent exercise for folks who cannot easily get up and down off the floor. Chair yoga can also help folks with chronic pain, rheumatoid arthiritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, osteoporosis, and multiple sclerosis and other illnesses. Cup of tea included x
Introduction to PIlates – Level 1/2
This mat-based workout helps students build their core and overall strength. You will benefit from a noticeably taller posture, and a more relaxed, energized mind.
